Have peace of mind with a Motor Happy warranty

A warranty is a guarantee or promise from one party to another that specific conditions will happen or that specific facts are true. In terms of your vehicle, this means that the car is free from defects and that it was properly constructed and the correct materials were used. In the case of Motor Happy, it’s a promise to replace any parts of your car that are covered by their warranty should they fail.

Below you’ll find a brief list of the parts covered by Motor Happy. Depending on the type of Motor Happy warranty you choose, there will be other parts covered by the warranty that aren’t shown below.

  • Engine
  • Gearbox
  • Cooling system
  • Wheel bearings
  • Differential
  • Suspension
  • Air conditioner
  • Clutch
  • Prop shaft
  • CV joints

Why is having a warranty important?

Nothing lasts forever and despite the manufacturers best efforts to build a long lasting vehicle, your car is likely to have problems down the road (pun intended). And unless you can predict the future, you’re going to be left with a repair bill that you’ll have to pay out of your own pocket. That’s never a fun position to be in because car parts often cost more than we can afford. Having a warranty gives you peace of mind knowing that if something does go wrong with your car, you won’t be left with an empty wallet.

Having a warranty also increases the resale value of your car. The terms of a warranty require that the car be well cared for in order to keep the warranty valid. This usually means having the oil changed regularly and having the required services/maintenance work done to the vehicle. In addition to this, when you sell your vehicle, the buyer has peace of mind knowing that any major problems will have been fixed because repairs wouldn’t have cost you anything. Many people are willing to pay extra for a used car that comes with a warranty because they won’t have to worry about problems in the future.

What are the service requirements for the warranty?

To maintain a valid warranty with Motor Happy you’ll need to service your vehicle in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s service requirements. You’ll need to send the invoice of each service, along with your policy number and odometer reading to the Claims Office.
