Jetour T2 Extended Car Warranty
The Jetour T2 is a boxy, off-road-styled SUV from Chery’s Jetour brand, powered by turbocharged 1.5- and 2.0-litre engines with a dual-clutch transmission and available four-wheel drive. As the earliest T2s move beyond their factory warranty, the cost of repairing a turbo engine or DCT falls on the owner.

Known Jetour T2 failure areas
The T2’s turbocharged engines and dual-clutch transmission carry the failure areas typical of modern turbo SUVs — none of them wear-and-tear items.
Dual-clutch (DCT) transmission faults are the most relevant out-of-warranty risk. The dual-clutch transmission can exhibit shudder, hesitation and mechatronic-unit issues, particularly in urban stop-start use. Clutch-pack or mechatronic repair is a significant workshop bill and a genuine mechanical transmission failure covered under warranty.
Turbo and direct-injection faults including wastegate actuator issues, carbon build-up on the intake valves and high-pressure fuel-pump problems are documented on modern turbo-petrol engines. These are covered mechanical repairs rather than service items.
Electronic and 4WD faults including touchscreen dropouts, sensor failures, driver-assistance calibration issues and four-wheel-drive engagement faults are documented across new-generation Chinese SUVs. These are covered component failures under an extended warranty.
