1.6 petrol oil consumption and ignition faults are documented on higher-mileage petrol NP200s, including elevated oil use, coil-pack failures and crank/cam sensor faults that cause misfires or non-starts. These are covered component failures under warranty.

Clutch and gearbox wear on hard-working examples — while the clutch friction plate is a wear item, associated mechanical failures such as the release bearing, gearbox bearings and drivetrain components are covered repairs under an extended warranty.
