Peugeot Landtrek Extended Service Plan
The Peugeot Landtrek is a hard-working double cab, now available with two diesel engines: the established 1.9-litre turbodiesel and the new 2.2-litre Multijet turbodiesel (147kW, 450Nm, eight-speed automatic) launched in October 2026. On either engine, the injection system, turbo and DPF depend on clean oil and disciplined servicing to stay reliable past the factory plan. An extended service plan keeps the Landtrek maintained on genuine Peugeot parts at a fixed monthly cost — important for a bakkie where downtime and unplanned bills hurt most.
New 2.2TD Landtrek: more power, bigger towing
Peugeot launched two new Landtrek double cab derivatives on 8 October 2026: the 2.2TD Allure (4x2) and the 2.2TD 4Action (4x4). The new 2.2-litre Multijet turbodiesel produces 147kW and 450Nm, which is 37kW and 100Nm more than the 1.9TD, and is paired with an eight-speed automatic. Maximum towing capacity rises from 3,000kg to 3,500kg.
Heavier towing is hard on any engine and gearbox, which makes servicing on schedule worth protecting. New Landtreks come with a 5-year/100,000km service plan, so an extended service plan is for when that runs out, or for 1.9TD Landtreks already past their factory plan.
