Nissan Magnite Extended Car Warranty

The Nissan Magnite has become one of South Africa’s best-value compact crossovers, pairing a turbocharged 1.0-litre engine with a CVT. That combination drives well, but carries documented failure areas that become expensive once the factory warranty ends.
An extended motor warranty protects you against the mechanical and electronic faults that matter most on the out-of-warranty Magnite — keeping repair costs predictable.

Known Nissan Magnite failure areas
The Magnite’s turbocharged 1.0-litre engine and CVT carry documented failure areas — none of them wear-and-tear items.
1.0 Turbo CVT hesitation and judder is the most commonly reported fault on the Magnite. The continuously variable transmission can shudder during acceleration, hesitate when pulling away and hunt between ratios — particularly noticeable in stop-start traffic. Internal CVT repair or replacement is a significant workshop cost and a genuine mechanical transmission failure covered under warranty.
Turbocharger and boost faults on the small-capacity 1.0T engine are documented, including wastegate actuator issues and boost-pressure faults that trigger limp mode. Turbo component repair is not a service item and falls under extended warranty cover.
Electrical and infotainment faults including touchscreen dropouts, reverse-camera failures and random warning lights are documented across the Magnite range. These are component failures covered under an extended warranty.
