Air & Fuel Filters
Engine air filter and fuel filter on schedule. The 2.0 TDI fuel system is sensitive to contaminated fuel and requires on-time filter replacement.
Spark Plugs

Haldex Oil (4Motion)

Why the DSG needs servicing
The VW DSG mechatronic unit — the hydraulic valve body that controls the dual-clutch gearbox — is the Tiguan’s most expensive single mechanical failure at R25 000–R35 000 to replace. The most consistent contributing factor in DSG failures is degraded transmission fluid: overdue DSG oil allows metallic contamination to build up in the mechatronic passages. The extended service plan includes DSG oil and filter at every major service, eliminating this risk.
