Citroën Extended Service Plan
Scheduled Maintenance Cover for the C3 & C3 Aircross
The Citroën C3 and C3 Aircross bring genuine character and European ride quality to South Africa’s competitive hatchback and compact SUV market. Their 1.2 PureTech turbocharged engines are smooth and fuel-efficient, but they are also sensitive to service discipline — the PureTech 1.2T is specifically designed around strict oil-change intervals.
A Citroën Extended Service Plan from Warranty Extender keeps your C3 or C3 Aircross on its Stellantis service schedule at a fixed monthly cost — protecting the PureTech engine and your resale value.

Why the PureTech engine needs strict service discipline
The Citroën 1.2 PureTech three-cylinder turbo is a sophisticated engine shared across the Stellantis group (Peugeot, Opel, DS). It produces excellent power for its size, but the timing belt — which is a rubber belt, not a chain — is oil-lubricated and unusually sensitive to service intervals. Oil that degrades past its service interval can cause the timing belt to fail prematurely, resulting in significant engine damage. Keeping services on time is non-negotiable for the PureTech engine.
Am I eligible?
Your Citroën qualifies if:
- It is a passenger vehicle in private use
- The original service plan has expired or is about to expire
- It has a full or substantially complete service history
- It is in good mechanical and roadworthy condition
Combine with an extended warranty
A service plan covers scheduled maintenance — it does not cover unexpected mechanical failures. The PureTech engine’s sensitivity makes warranty cover particularly valuable. Pair your service plan with a Citroën Extended Warranty — covering both routine servicing and unexpected mechanical failures in one monthly arrangement.
